ok, so i made this set about 4 months ago, but i am really needing it now! i am in the mood for spring and the 18-24 inches of snow outside my window, that fell overnight, that i shoveled today...is not helping my mood! i long for the long lost days in california - going to the farmer's market on saturdays and the flea with pals, kicking around san diego vintage shops or buying organic peaches in santa barbara. i need sunshine to grow my friends! i have said it before and i'll say it forever...so spring and summer BETTER be right around the corner or else i might flip my cookie!

i heart fall! what i really heart is the surprise week in october when the weather is deceptively warm right before it really gets cold and the leaves explode with color. recently emilia talked about having a barn party and ever since i have been looking for an excuse to have a mulling party - cider and conversation, heels and scarves - just friends sitting around a wood stove with a cider-filled, cinnamon scattered cauldron on top...it's the stuff of magic. now that i've got the outfit, all that's left to do is plan.

ok, so i know that this is WAY outta anyone's budget...but - each piece is so lovely that i couldn't leave them out and be price-ist...dream with me would you? imagine that you have a job where sparkles are appropriate during the daytime hours (a job that wouldn't get you arrested, let's just say) and that job may also include fancy $12 drinks, expensive baubles & prada heels after hours...are you with me? keep your eyes closed because this happy place was inspired by my doe colored birthday and i took an outfit cue from my favorite gal, check out her evergreen set.

ok, so i am a novice at this, but did you know that polyvore is the coolest trick ever? well, it's just the cats pajamas! i heart it and now i can maybe be half as cool as these gals putting up sets here and here. i have a feeling that this outfit fix-up may be a regular happening around here because it is TMF...too much fun!

i am missing california BIG time...misses and kisses to my west coast lovelies & kiddos! MWAH.
